AZERBAIJAN BAKU Hand forged copper Tea Pot set. Black Tea came to Turkey from Russians in early 20th Century and now grows in Black Sea coast. Tea making Samovars made by Russian in 19th century soviet times. Upper class used to have them in their homes as status sign. Majority class people used to have such teapots to make tea. Bigger ones were used with small porcelain tea pots on top which were made to make strong tea to be diluted with boiled water from the bigger pots. Small copper ones would be strong and long lasting. Both of them are hand hammered and turned into tea pots. They are tinned and in great shape.
