EASTERN TURKEY – ERZURUM – OTTOMAN Hand forged bronze lantern. They are made in two pieces and joined with a light cotton to pet the light out through a candle in its center. Here we have only top and bottom pieces. They are also famous in Isfahan / Persia area from Qajar dynasty of 19th century.
Both sides have been pierced in animal design so that it can reflect its shadow. In very good condition. A cotton piece can be added to it upon request before shipping.
