SYRIAN ALEPPO Handmade brass Coffee pot. It is an old tradition to make coffee on open fire in Middle East. Yemen was the motherland where coffee grew and spread around in this part of world. Caravans carried it to further north to Asia Minor and by Ottomans to Europe in 16th century. Hand forged brass traditional Syrian style coffee pot with a thick hallow handle. Lid has a bird for good luck. Body has simple common design. Used but in very good condition.
